About Kathleen Jaap

I provide Business and Personal Prosperity Coaching and Consulting to executives, business owners, entrepreneurs, and students who are ready to go to the next level of success in life. I am a Certified Public Accountant and also hold a Master's Degree in Psychology...everyone asks me "Well, how do those two go together?" They are a perfect fit for coaching and consulting!

I have practiced as a CPA and had been in the consulting, accounting, audit and tax field for over 20 years. I have built 2 CPA practices, served as Chief Financial Officer for 2 multi-million dollar international companies and served on the Board of Directors for some local non-profit organizations. Along the way, I was introduced to the Universal Laws of Attraction and Prosperity. After many years of success in the financial world, I started feeling bored and unfulfilled by my work….then came the fall of The Enron Corporation. While I did not work for this company, I felt very sad and disappointed by some of the professionals in my industry and I knew I was on the verge of some kind of personal transformation.

As the restlessness in me continued, I knew something had to change....I tried all kinds of things with my business to refocus my energy in my accounting career...and nothing was working. It was time for prayer and self reflection. Through the course of my personal journaling, prayer and gratitude for what had been, I asked the Universe for new insight to my future path of service. My background in Positive Psychology and Metaphysics provided the tools that guided me to my answer. I then realized that it was time for me to leave the daily accounting world and launch my passion for teaching these principles of abundance, out right, in the open, to business owners.

Now, I had been doing this kind of "stealth" for quite a while in my CPA practice and when I was a company officer, but I had to spend more time on functions than on foundation. While I established great accounting system foundations, I knew that the REAL FOUNDATION lay in the OWNER'S MINDSET, and I would gently work this into my consulting and management practices.

Looking back, I have always been attracted to the field of personal development. I have always had a constant intrigue and appreciation for the working of the mind, body and spirit. So much so, that earlier in my accounting and consulting career, I advanced my studies with a Master’s Degree in Psychology. Right after completing this study is when I was also introduced to the Universal Laws of Attraction and Prosperity. My CPA business began growing to new levels immediately. I was experiencing incredible results. I had always taught and practiced the principles of self-empowerment with my clients, encouraging them to be their personal best and thus, have successful businesses. This approach is what led to my continued success in the business world and a very loyal client base. I was always available to my clients and genuinely cared about their quality of life and success. When I began combining the Universal Laws with my consulting work, I began to witness the true power that is there for everyone.

In 2004, I transitioned my traditional CPA practice to Business Coaching and Consulting. I work closely with my clients, assisting them in identifying their values, strengths, weaknesses, traits, and beyond that: their true desires. My primary focus is empowering people to understand themselves better, create new ways to release problems and to more effectively create and enjoy prosperity and abundance in their lives.

I have always been blessed with great personal/business/spiritual mentors, which I believe are essential for success in all areas of life. It is too easy to try to compartmentalize our thoughts and feelings. While this is a valid coping and organizational skill, it often leads to less than satisfactory results in the big picture, when not utilized properly. I do personal/business coaching to teach people how to create a foundation of business based on who they are, how they show up in life....Values Based Leadership with Law of Attraction sprinkled in.

I first begin with a Personal and Work Lifestyles Values Assessment. This always brings out surprises, as to why things are going smoothly and as profitable in some areas, but not in other areas, of the lifestyle and business of the same owner!

I attract all sorts of people to my business and the one thing they all have in common is vision for themselves to be their very best and the desire to live a life without limits.

Now I spend the beautiful spring months, enjoying being on Galveston Bay, by the pool, and in my garden, not closed up doing tax returns and audits. I enjoy plenty of time with my grandchildren. I coach and consult with business owners to development themselves and their businesses with prosperity consciousness and personal integrity. I travel all over the world with like-minded individuals who are creating lives of freedom and true prosperity.

I recently launched a new company. Claim Your Freedom Seminars, Inc. The focus is on learning and consciously applying values-based leadership skills along with Prosperity Principles in Business...actively!

Since participating in a class called “The Quest” in 1993, I have continuously had a vision of myself speaking in front of a group of people. I see that I am providing them with valuable information that will assist them in some special way…During the past 15 years I did not know what this vision meant. I only knew that my purpose in life has been to live my life in such a way, as to be a demonstration for all those who cross my path. What I mean by that is, I do my best to live by my principles and beliefs in the Universal Laws of Attraction and Prosperity. I choose to be a living example that gives everyone permission to discover, envision and create the life that they desire and deserve…..utilizing the universal Laws of Attraction that are at work already, all the time, right now!
